José Mateus, biologist and passionate about nature and natural processes, discovered his curiosity for the living world around him early on. From fungi to plants, he has been working and developing projects in agriculture, environment and biodiversity during the last years. A self-taught researcher, he brings us his vision of how to create complex biodiverse systems, suitable for the creation of abundance for people and animals as an alternative to the system of scarcity in which we live.

José Mateus, biólogo e apaixonado pela natureza e pelos processos naturais, desde cedo descobriu a sua curiosidade pelo mundo vivo que o rodeia. Dos fungos às plantas, tem trabalhado e desenvolvido projectos na área da agricultura, ambiente e biodiversidade durante os últimos anos. Investigador autodidacta, trás-nos a sua visão de como criar sistemas biodiversos complexos, adequados à criação de abundância para pessoas e animais como alternativa ao sistema de escassez em que vivemos.
