Aterra Eco Campsite
Aterra is an ecological campsite on the Southwest coast of Alentejo, Portugal. We offer guests a unique ‘glamping’ experience in a rustic, yet very comfortable and beautiful, family friendly environment. We invite you to stay in romantic Rajasthani tents, stunning yurts or auspicious tipis, beside a large fresh water lake.Aterra is a secluded, peaceful site in a valley surrounded by woodlands, fruit trees and grasslands.
The land exhibits the art and functionality of permaculture, with beautiful gardens amongst a small working farm. Just 6km from the Alentejo and Vincentine coast, you can explore the array of wild and wonderful beaches close by, surf the waves of this renowned coastline or kayak up the Mira and Odeceixe rivers. Experience the exquisite portuguese cuisine and soak up the atmosphere in the nearby towns of Zambujeira, Odeceixe and Sao Teotonio.
