Become the Dance
Everyone can let go and become the dance. Experienced facilitators invite us in different dance disciplines like Contact Improvisation, Contemporary Dance, Fluentbody and Tribal Dance. Each one of the dance disciplines will bring unique pathways of experiencing yourself in movement considering an holistic and complementary approach. Connecting body and mind, giving space for your creative self to emerge in a solid, spontaneous and naturally poetic way! Having time, space and support to find the allowance to express yourself in a physical form, breaking the gravity barriers and reaching out for deeper understanding and connection with yourself and others.
Human moves Workshop by Hugh Stainer
In this workshop we will work with animal movement patterns, floor work, rhythm, momentum and improvisation to explore functional and efficient ways to move in and out of the floor, and to fall with control. Suitable for all abilities.
Contact Improvisation Workshop with Vega Luukkonen
We focus on cultivating a deeper awareness of listening, breathing, giving, receiving, and timing. Within specific exercises we explore tools that are helpful to work in contact such as; sharing weight, center-to-center, leaning and supporting, rolling point of contact. Also using ideas around momentum, suspension, inertia & falling. To find effortless ways into weight transfers and lifting. Leading and following, falling and spiralling…Lightness. How do we distribute our weight intelligently, and when do we give weight? How much is enough to feel each other? Fine tuning and subtle precision. We will also work with dance-scores, different structures for improvisation, which allows participants to get into the flow of their own movement, giving time and space to integrate the learnt technique into their dance. Fluent Body Workshop with Florencia Lamarca
Bodies have their own language. They tell a story, and constantly seek to feel as alive and fluid as possible. Uncovering this fluidity gives us the potential to enrich our senses and imagination, to experience lightness and power, and to raise our self-awareness and the capacity for self-healing. Bodies can feel confident, soft, pleasurable and free, moving through space without any agenda or self-judgment. We will open doors to new places, shifting our emotional states through physicality.
